Algebra

Algebra is one of the main three branches of math. It is a must in school and can be hard for some. There are different categories of algebra, that will better explain all the things that you can expect when you are learning algebra. All those letters and such can look really hard, but once you have the basic concept down you will see that with practice anything is doable.

Elementary algebra is the first category and is the start of the process. Here you will learn about the symbol place holders, constants and variables, equations, and math expressions. That all make up algebra. This is where you will learn the beginning things and you will need to know these to add to the whole algebra experience.

Then you have abstract algebra or modern algebra. This is where you learn algebraic structures, like groups, rings, and fields. Next, is linear algebra where you learn the properties of vector spaces. Finally, there is universal algebra, where all the common practices come together to form algebraic structures.
You can even find advanced algebra, but you need to learn the building blocks of algebra first. That is what it is all about, any math is the foundation to what you will learn later. If you are building a house you need the foundation to make it stand upright. You will need the same with algebra. You can do it one step at a time, take your time so you get it right and don't have to rebuild that structure.
