There are many reasons you would need a statistics class and most degrees will want you to have this class. When you are learning about math statistics it is really the theory and analysis behind math that you are learning. Does it still involve math problems? Yes, you will still have to do some homework and do problems and take tests. Its just one of those other building blocks to your life and what you need keep building that knowledge.
Statistics can be fun if you let it. Nothing is too hard for you to do. Everything is worth taking the steps to get there. It makes your feel better about your thought process and you will also learn to expand that process with statistics. There are different types of statistics so not all of them will be the same classes. You could have statistics for nurses that help them learn how to do medication doses and such. Lab students may learn about formula's and do long equations.
This is just some of the things you can learn from statistics. Sometimes you have no choice you have to take it, but have faith in yourself. You have gotten this far with math. You will always have math around you and more so with certain professions. So, hold your head up and dig in. You can do it. Get help if you have problems with certain areas. You can always find someone who is willing to help because they have been in the same spot you are now. |
