When you thing of geometry, what do you see? Do you think of formula's? Do you see all types of shapes? Do you feel that you will never figure it all out? That no matter how hard you try and what you do that you will not be able to learn it?
That is not completely the truth. Yes, geometry is about points, straight lines, curves, surfaces, and solids. You will find all type of shapes that you need to analysis and formula's to plug in to get the answer. That is with every math problem. Rules are there for each type of math and geometry is not any different; however, you can do it. It takes time.
Once you have to basic concept of geometry down you are ready to move on. It just takes time and practice. It may look hard, but once you know what you are doing it really isn't. Things tend to just look harder than they really are. That is what makes people just like you think they can't do something. When the fact is you can do anything you want to do, with a little effort and the know how.
Don't be discouraged by the shapes and numbers and formula's that stand out on the page, forget it. Just learn what is in front of you. With a good teacher you can take and do each step one by one. Before you know it you will be on your way to mastering those geometry problems with ease.

Are you wondering if there really is something called simple math? Well the truth is for some all of it is easy, but most will say that addition and subtraction is the easiest. But it's not as easy for those little ones just starting out. They think it is hard.
This happens will everything new you are going to learn. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. One look and you are convinced it is too hard, just from a glance. There are words and letters and numbers you just can't seem to figure out. Why is that? Because you haven't given it a chance. You can't judge that until you start learning it. The other thing is, all math works from foundation that you build upon. Each step has to be master in order to have the finished product.
Sometimes these steps take time to understand and be able to work with ease, but it will come with practice and the guidance you need. Math can be simple and you can enjoy it. Learning is suppose to be fun and you can always find a way to put a different spin on your learning. Some teachers will even do this for you. When you have fun and learn at the same time it helps you understand the problems better.
So, the next time you see a hard problem don't sweat it. You now know that anything is doable. You just have to learn the steps. Then before you know it you are working those problems easily. |
